Whoa! Hold the phone, you want to be a solider?! What a great occupation! I have met many soliders, and let me tell you, they are a fine group of people. Although, you should let me put forth some advice. If you really want to be a solider, you should go for the gold, and be the best solider there is. Do you know what the best type of solider is? It’s a Navy SEAL! That’s right, the Navy SEAL is the finest soldier to ever walk the Earth! A SEAL goes in behind enemy lines and spies on the enemy! They also engage the enemy in gun fights and can call in powerful air stikes to vanquish their foes. However, a SEAL has mental and physical capibilities beyond those of average American civilians. You have to be able to run all day, and still have the energy to fight!!! So if you are really considering becoming one of the finest soldiers on Earth, start by learning how to run. If you can run, everything else will fall into place.
Also, a SEAL has to be smart in order to solve unexpected problems he might face on the battlefield. Reading is the best way to gain the knowledge needed for such a situation. So, I am glad that you enjoy reading. When I was your age I did not like to read. I spent all my time playing and joking around with friends. As a result, I fell like I now have to read twice as much to catch up on all the books I missed. Don’t do that! Continue to read and learn. Remember: A dumb soldier is a dead soldier.
